As we continue to live through the uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we at Lehigh Valley Oral Surgery and Implant Center are committed to serving our patients in the best and safest way possible. If a patient has a true dental emergency (extreme dental pain, swelling, infection not controlled by antibiotics, fractured tooth, etc), we are here to help. We will schedule the patient and relieve their pain in the safest manner possible, using proper PPE’s, screening questions, limiting the number of people in the office and other recommendations by the PA Department of Health and CDC.
For the past two weeks and into the foreseeable future, we are not preforming elective procedures such as dental implants or elective wisdom teeth extractions. We feel that in the spirit of the recommendations by the Pennsylvania Dental Association, PA Department of Health, and Federal governmental agencies, it is our duty to limit the amount of patient interaction in our office as much as possible.
If you have a true dental emergency, please feel free to contact our office.

To Our Valued Patients,
We hope this email finds you and your family in good health. These are difficult times for all of us and we must face those challenges as best we can.
Our whole team misses you. We are following the CDC and American Dental Association recommendations in regards to our practices operations.
Our team is reaching out to patients with scheduled appointments. We want to make sure that we have you scheduled for your needed care once our practice is fully open.
As many of you are aware, in order to protect our patients and staff from Covid-19, we have reduced office visits to only “emergency” visits that cannot wait a few weeks. Dr. Chaudhry and his staff are still coming in to help those patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are taking all precautions and doing our best to protect everyone by maintaining a 6-foot distance and disinfecting all surfaces after each patient. We are also using appropriate PPE’s for all patient encounters.
New protocols have been implemented to ensure the safety of our patients, staff and doctors. We plan to exceed the current standards of personal protective equipment (PPE), OSHA and make your experience safe and reassuring. Your health is our number one priority.
We are also working on Covid-19 safe treatment protocols, modified check-in and scheduling systems, limiting entry to only scheduled patients, as well as new air filtration and aerosols elimination equipment.
Many patients have also changed their appointments to virtual appointments. These are conducted via a HIPPA compliant platform. Most dental insurance companies are covering these visits at the same level that they cover office visits.
We encourage you to take advantage of your insurance coverage by booking any such appointments during this downtime. It is rare that Dr. Chaudhry has as much time as he does now to educate his patients. Examples of such appointments include:
- Dental Implants – Are they right for you?
- Dental Implants – What is involved with the procedure?
- Wisdom Teeth – When should your teenager get them out?
- Bone grafting – What is it and when is it needed?
- IV sedation – What can I expect?
- Loose Dentures – What are my options?
- Fixed permanent teeth with dental implants
- TMJ problems
- Opioid-Free treatment
Please feel free to reach out to Dr. Chaudhry in this time of stress and need. He will do his best to be there for you or to guide you to someone who can help.
Please remember that these virtual visits can cover any topic you like and if an exam or tests are then needed, we will decide together when and how that will be done given our desire to keep you home and safe.
We can’t wait to see you again and will very likely have extended hours to accommodate your care. We will work hard to get your oral health back on track.
Thank you for your trust over the years. We appreciate your patience and confidence during these challenging times.
We are here to serve you. Please contact us for anything.

Stay safe and well,
